grisgris8
OK everyone looking for a jacob and co bling rep that is near perfect. Before any comments on how ugly they are or how the watch is crap, I'll let you know it is for another purpose then wearing out but rather a project. Does anyone besides king sell a very good rep of a jacob and co. watch? Thanks for your help
KB
I'm sure Neil mentioned at one stage that he sold Jacob and Co reps, just not on our board. Ken

dadog13
difficult to get a nice looking rep of the Jacob&Co when neither the gen one looks nice!
narikaa
All Jacob & Co reps are not best quality (of say the better Panerai gendre). That aside the two broad groups you are faced with are: 1) 5 separate quartz movements 2) 4 separate quartz movements and 1 main Asian automatic movement (Dismissing of course the absolute crap ones with one movement and 4 sets of stuck on hands!!) In fairness although the second option would seem a better choice, be warned, they are plagued with problems mostly caused by the excessive crown stem extensions required to reach the automatic movement. An attribute that having a central quartz movement seems to tolerate better! Also the ones with interchangeble screw off bezels do seem to have a slightly better build quality. Finally give all 'diamonds' several coats of top quality clear nail lacquer to not only sparkle them up, but to seal all their edges to prevent snagging on clothing. Dont want your bling creation looking like a smile full of missing teeth Edited July 13, 2006 by narikaa
