Once again oscarmadfish, that photo you posted of your PO is pure poison!!!!! Can't wait to get it!! Anyway, there were 5,007 pieces of the limited edition Planet Ocean made for the gen that is... alphakazi Posted October 8, 2008 Report Posted October 8, 2008 hey imranbecks - you made it - we were certain everyone else perished in the crash - we have since ran out of food because of greg's total disregard for tomatoes and we have resorted to religion - we must "believe" - the forums are being worked on as we speak... let us pray
alphakazi Posted October 8, 2008 Report Posted October 8, 2008 btw, we are all in the 'loony bin' section http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showforum=21

mars08 Posted October 8, 2008 Report Posted October 8, 2008 From what I can tell, Omega has released at least four "007" watches. Models: 2226.80 2537.80 2907.50 AND this new one...
fakemaster Posted October 8, 2008 Report Posted October 8, 2008 With the new movie I believe there are six.
oscarmadfish Posted October 8, 2008 Author Report Posted October 8, 2008 thanx guys how many have been repped ?
b16a2 Posted October 8, 2008 Report Posted October 8, 2008 I have seen a rep of the old blue ltd ed, it's not all that good though; The newer Planet Ocean has been repped (from Casino Royale) and is pretty good; I am yet to see a rep of the newer black dialed SMP ltd ed, and the newer Quantum of Solcae PO, which in my opinion is fugly!
oscarmadfish Posted October 8, 2008 Author Report Posted October 8, 2008 *The newer Planet Ocean has been repped (from Casino Royale) and is pretty good;* see first pic
mars08 Posted October 8, 2008 Report Posted October 8, 2008 I believe there's a 2537.80 rep.... don't know how good it is.
b16a2 Posted October 8, 2008 Report Posted October 8, 2008 I believe there's a 2537.80 rep.... don't know how good it is. There is indeed, but as with all the current SMP's it suffers from the usual flaws. Nice watch nonetheless
gillorin Posted October 8, 2008 Report Posted October 8, 2008 There was also a very limited run of the first SMP 2531.80 with a two tone bracelet, and the back was engraved with "James Bond Choice". Never seen a rep of that though, and also sounds like a pretty lame watch.
imranbecks Posted October 9, 2008 Report Posted October 9, 2008 I believe there's a 2537.80 rep.... don't know how good it is. Yes. I have the rep of 2537.80.. Its very well made. The lume on the dial has the steel rims just like the gen. Here is mine. Notice the colour of the bezel insert has slightly faded.. Had the watch for over 2 years now... Thats what the Sun's UV Rays will do to the bezel.... Side by side with my regular SMP 2531.80 >>>
oscarmadfish Posted October 10, 2008 Author Report Posted October 10, 2008 thanx fakemaster if anybody can link me to or post pics of all 4 i will have your babys
mars08 Posted October 10, 2008 Report Posted October 10, 2008 Have a look at post #7 mate. Google can be your friend. No need for the "baby" promises.

imranbecks Posted October 10, 2008 Report Posted October 10, 2008 (edited) thanx mars so there is the one i have some have red second hands ? mine is orange there is the washing machine one the one with 007 all over the dial the new solace one is that it ? i think so but could be wrong Here they are in the chronological order of their release.... >>>> The one that started it all. It was actually to commemorate James Bond's 40th Anniversary in 2002 with Die Another Day >>> 2537.80.00 And then for Casino Royale in 2006 >>> 2226.80.00 2907.50.91 And the limited edition ones for Quantum Of Solace.. No replicas of these recent models yet >>>> 212.30.41.20.01.001 222.30.46.20.01.001 I see the pattern with Omega now.. Since 2002, with every James Bond movie that is released, they will almost surely market it with a limited edition 007 watch... Marketing at its best... Edited October 10, 2008 by imranbecks
alphakazi Posted October 10, 2008 Report Posted October 10, 2008 the new SMP QOS 007 is nice but alas, it's 41mm the red on black with polished and brushed ss is sharp
jeff g Posted October 12, 2008 Report Posted October 12, 2008 Bought this 2537. back in 2004. Black dial/black bezel. I have been told that the minute hand is too short... nevertheless a very nice Omega. Nice gold 007, and very nicely done 007 engraving on the dial. I always prefeered the black face and bezel to the blue.
imranbecks Posted October 14, 2008 Report Posted October 14, 2008 Bought this 2537. back in 2004. Black dial/black bezel. I have been told that the minute hand is too short... nevertheless a very nice Omega. Nice gold 007, and very nicely done 007 engraving on the dial. I always prefeered the black face and bezel to the blue. I have that too. But I can't be bothered to take a photo of it as it has the wrong colored dial and bezel insert. Even the fonts on the insert is wrong. And the red tipped needle on the second hand is too short.
