cableguy
I have an older MBW with noob guts that The Zigmeister worked on, its already got a gen crown and i have a spare noob bracelet i'm thinking about buying a wm9 and just basicly swapping the movement/dial/crown over to the new wm9 case. anyone know if the bracelet and crown fit without mods? thanks in advance! chefcook
Yes, will fit in both cases. swap the clasp as well! The WM9 clasp is so much nicer!
cableguy
chef have you done the swap personally? i'm >< this close to pulling the trigger now!
ubiquitous
I've performed the crown swap and it's a straight forward change out. I'm still using the tube that originally came fitted to my case from WM9. Bracelet... I built my own, mixing and matching parts. See the below post for details... cableguy
thanks ubi for the reply! I love all of your frankens! I dont have the parts you used to do the custom bracelet hehe
ubiquitous
For the bracelet, you're already 90% of the way there. Just use the WM9 SELs in place of the TW Best that I used, and you should have all the parts between the stock bracelet and your noob. Nothing wrong with the WM9 SELs at all... They look and fit great. I used the TW Best as I had already modified them and they fit just a tiny bit more snug...
