ubiquitous
T'is very nice, but unfortunately wll not fit a rep 116520- The dial feet will not line up (of course), but a 7750's center hour/minute pinion will not fit the center hole either. freddy333
T'is very nice, but unfortunately wll not fit a rep 116520- Sad, but true. On a more positive note, some collectors' current rep dials are so good that, even at that great price, there is no reason to go gen.
polexpete
Thanks guys, very interesting. But i was thinking for a donor El Primo in a Franken project like yours Ubi. Will this dial fit? Also Freddy which rep dials are close to the gen? Cheers P.
Guest Sql_pl
There is no use for such dial. I actually have a white 116520 gen dial. It does not fit rep because of the canon pinion diameter like ubi said and it does not fit el primero because of subdial location.
ubiquitous
Unfortunately, the dial won't fit an El Primero The EP400/4030 has the Subdials configured differently- The subsidiaries are grouped closer together- The 4130 has the 9:00 and 3:00 subdials slightly raised above the center axis, and the subdials are spaced further apart: But it might fit nicely on one of those faux chrono versions with seconds at six and dummy hour/min counters (i.e. with those posts removed and hands affixed DW MM style). As for rep dials... I built this one for my Uncle, which had a pretty decent 116520 dial...

Hi Freddy, can you please give us some .... example of such positivity (not with sec. at 6 7750, please)? Ah, and dealer, please!
freddy333
Hi Freddy, can you please give us some .... example of such positivity (not with sec. at 6 7750, please)? Ah, and dealer, please! click me Unfortunately, the reps I referenced came from sites which have since changed their names and/or URLs. The site referenced in Step 1 is Josh's & the site referenced in Step 2 was idolreplicas.com (idolreplicas used to be known as watch-ebay & continues to change names, but the content (& my caveats about them) remains the same).
