pollux1
Is any factory EVER gonna build a new (correct) SMP case? I know it's been discussed before but can anyone shed light? Thanks.
casanile
The one named "closed factory SMP" with the correct HEV position. A few of us had the chance to found some black SMP 2254.50 last year from an ioffer seller. But till this time nothing...
imranbecks
I'm pretty happy with the current SMP rep case.. The case back may not be as slim as the gen, but it still works well on the wrist and it still feels comfortable too..

whitestripes
But the crown guards!!! Exactly. Andrew said a new Bond SMP is coming out soon. (1-2 months, 1-2 months ago). I assume it'll be a with a new case.
imranbecks
But the crown guards!!! What is wrong with the crown guards on the current rep? Did I miss out on something?
DemonSlayer
They are supposed to be too short, they don't extend outwards as much as on the gen. There are certain cases of the 'asian 21J' reps which have very accurate crownguards, sadly though the ETA ones don't.

yellomen
I'm curious if the new case will be really improved.... but i'm sceptical. I know my old one is still the best, especially after Ziggy reworked the crowngaurds!! And being an old closed factory case, the He valve position is perfect. I even installed an original Omega SMP crystal

I love "asian 21J" reps, who has the best one of these?
