ImWatching
Really glad I found this forum. I have been hooked on watch collecting now for about 9 months and so far I have bought only gen and homage watch. I am really excited about this forum and being able to gain enough knowledge to make smart decisions about some Rep purchases. My only reason for not purchasing a replica before now was that I have been to afraid of being scammed. I am hoping to find reliable sources for replicas here on this forum. ImWatching
Wow! Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. I greatly appreciate all of those links and I can see where I'll be spending a few hours today. Hey chronoluvvv, very sunny yesterday and today. My wife and I live in the foothills of the Sierra's about 45 miles east of Sacramento. We built our retirement home in the country a few years back and feel like we are living in a vacation home every day of our lives now. This photo was taken last year and is a view off our back deck. szvwj
Welcome to the forum. It sounds like you're close to Grass Valley (where I grew up). It's a nice area. This is a great place to learn about watches, you'll like it here.
wiseman
First, welcome to the board! I must confess that I am jealous as h*ll right now. In the Nordics in Europe it is starting to get cold. I am at the moment sitting at a SAS Radission hotel bar in Oslo, Norway writing this (I am here holding a class, I live in Sweden otherwise) and outside it is cold and very high humidity...so my double espresso and shot of Baileys are a relief... Just a warning to you all guys on the forum...do not...I repeat..DO NOT...post pictures of the nice warm sunny places where you live...it only makes me jealous that I dont live there... *LoL* And now, back to the regular programme.... szvwj
wiseman: Wow, I spent a lot of time in the Oslo SAS (and at the Airport across the street). I have vivid memories of the snow on the concrete... sorry. If it makes you feel any better, we may have beautiful weather in California, but it's friggen expensive to live here (at least where I live)!
