dieselpower
Hi all Omega fans, I would just like to report a little event that happened to me last weekend. My wife, son and I went to visit friends in Geneva for the weekend. We flew into Geneva airport and I noticed that the glass from my genuine Speedmaster Professional was missing! I looked around my seat and it fell onto the floor of the aircraft. I retrieved it and pressed it back into place but I suppose I'll have to take it to an AD to be replaced/fitted properly. Has this happened to anyone else? I assume the pressure changes popped the glass out. Lucky it didn't happen on Appollo
Ztech
Sorry to hear about your little incident, especially since it was a gen. Although I've never experience it myself, I've heard from other friends that have had it happen to them. Amazingly they were all gens and some very reputable brands like Rolex and Tags. I would figure it has to do with the pressure changing, but I asume there's more to it than just that. Maybe the x-tal was and ill fitting one from the get go or something to that effect. Something I would definitely mention it to an AD. Good luck.
whitestripes
It hasn't happened to me (yet), but it did happen to a Speedy that was taken to the moon.
