Watchmeister
Very nice work. Wear that one well. The funny thing about vintage rolexes is that half the gens have long since had parts replaced and so they are frankens.

The funny thing about vintage rolexes is that half the gens have long since had parts replaced and so they are frankens. So true......I saw a watch for sale on a vntage Rolex Forum that was exactly like mine. Pointed Cg's, 1560 movement, 93150 band and a service replacement dial and hands. Asking price?.......$6,000.00. And here is one for $9,000.00 without a band and with a 1530 movement: http://xxx.network54.com/Forum/207673/mess...+Papers+REDUCED ( Replace x's with www ) I guess my build looks better every second......to me I guess that is a better value than the one I built......not! SO true, one of my colleagues has a 40 year plus vintage datejust, sent it to Rolex for movement service, came back with a new dial and hands... Such a shame, Frankenized by Rolex..
