New watches - Welder + stories from St Maarten

just got back from a long trip and had an amazing watch adventure in st maarten

wife and family went to the beach, so i got to roam the watch shops from 930 am to 230 pm

tried on dewitt, UN Maxi Marine (love it)

and found some cool new brands, or at least ones i had not heard of. One was a Cuban Brand - more on that in another thread.

but, i also came across this Welder brand. - its been mentioned here a small number of times - prices are 800-3000 ish

but, what is really cool is some of them come with various color filters which totally change the look. they are large - some a bit to large. but, very cool none the less

Looks like it was great fun...I was wondering where you were these past few weeks...

I've seen Cuban Brand before...not really my thing but they are quite nice... never seen those Welders though, filters are a pretty cool idea...

Welder is from Italo Fontana; the same designer or factory as U-Boat.

In the Netherlands they are priced from 375,- to around 600,- euros.
