diver_dylan
DD Basically I don't want to be ostentatious, I just want to get him a mechanical watch in the hope he picks up a passion for watches! That looks to be the best bet so far Dylan
Corgi
Basically I don't want to be ostentatious, I just want to get him a mechanical watch in the hope he picks up a passion for watches! "Dad, mechanical watches are so dumb, why would you pay so much money for a watch that you have to wind or wear every day. The best watch is the clock on my cell phone." doc savage
Mini Sub!!! +1 on this, RWG legend CBR has some wristshots of his little man sporting one and it looks great. I know it's a fantasy watch, and who would give a little kid a Rolex anyway, but I still think it's cool. Reps don't make very good heirlooms, so my only other suggestion would be something sporty, quartz, and not too pricey in the gen version. Maybe a Tag Professional Sports. qualitime
My son has bought his first rep when he was nine years old. He's fourteen now. It's a black Rolex Yachtmaster boy size from Paul ,ETA powered. The watch had a tough life. Swimming, climbing, boating, digging...... Stil going strong and looking fine.
