I set the date/time, but now I can't get the Crown all the way back into the watch. When I push it back to the first position and screw clockwise, I hear clicks, but it doesn't advance the needle farther into the watch. Is this a problem or am I doing something wrong? Trevor52 Posted December 27, 2008 Report Share Posted December 27, 2008 Unfortunately the crowns on the UPO are notoriously poorly designed. I believe some members have swapped with gen crowns and basically had the same problems. The threads are on the inside of the crown tube and well you can imagine that they are easily stripped. Slowly unscrew - then when you line it back up I try to go backwards gently until it catches then screw the crown in. Otherwise you will have to replace the crown.
