GrantR
Hi, I'm relativity new to this all. I found this watch at the back of my bedside table today and thought I'd upload a few picture for you guys to rip to shreds! It was purchased in China by my father on a business trip 3/4years ago, as a bit of a joke i think (due to its large size). I've no idea what movement it has if its even worth mentioning! What do you guys think? Worth anything or worth scrapping? As i obviously don't ware it. db1
i own the same watch model- Bentley GT rep with the a7750 movement (chronograph movement), and it is great IMO i love it! so far my all time fav the Bentley GT is IMO one of the most beautiful breitling models to date =] your rep has a few obvious tells, but it doesnt mean you shouldnt wear it, each one of us started from somewhere. my first ever rep was as well - a 21j faux chrono-matic breitling, which i no longer wear- but keep the watch cause im very connected to it (its like me losing my virginity in the rep-world ) dig your way on the forum, you will find tons of information. link to a (pretty bad) photo of my GT: http://img401.imageshack.us/my.php?image=dscf0609uj8.jpg cheers db1
RLudlowe
The perfect rep it isn't, but if it were mine I'd replace the strap and wear it -

TenJed69
Not an accurate rep, but hey, I'm sure you didn't pay much for it, if it works and you like the look of it, wear it all you like. Some things wrong with it: Case shape is wrong, the gen has almost straight lines, angularly cut. This rep has curves. The 12 o'clock subdial hand is silver on the gen, red on this rep. The subdials are completely wrong. The gen has a 30, 10, 20 dial at 12 o'clock, a 12, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 dial at 6 o'clock, and a 60, 20, 40 dial at 3 o'clock. The chequering on the bezel should go all the way to the edge. The hour indices are wrong. All of them except the 4 o'clock marker should be 'cut off' by the subdials. The pushers are too fat and the thinner 'stem' part is too long. The crown is too short. The case back should have the model number A13362, not D13362. There should be a serial number underneath it also. They have spaced out the text too much to compensate for the lack of a serial number. The case back is too small also, it should go right to the edges of the case in between the lugs. The strap should be brown on the reverse side I think. The buckle is the wrong shape and the Breitling logo looks like it is etched instead of stamped/applied. The strap should have white stitching down either side on the outside. GrantR
Not an accurate rep, but hey, I'm sure you didn't pay much for it, if it works and you like the look of it, wear it all you like. Like I said, I didn't pay for it and i don't particularly like the look of it or really wanna wear it... I'm not a big Breitling fan tbh, find them to chunky - obviously watches are very much a personal preference! Thanks for the input guys...
