jnkay Posted January 7, 2009 Report Posted January 7, 2009 My rlx GMT IIc reps do the same thing, even after professional servicing. I've taken it back to the watchsmith for a look-see. I'll let you know what he finds to be the problem.
Jenever Posted January 8, 2009 Author Report Posted January 8, 2009 Hm! My watchsmith says machine looks well and good quality. His theory: some minuscule metal scraps from the mounting process entered between the gears. He take the watch for a dismounting/cleaning process; next week we'll see...
FxrAndy Posted January 8, 2009 Report Posted January 8, 2009 Hope that sorts it, do you have a reliable rep friendly watch smith then?
Rolexman Posted January 8, 2009 Report Posted January 8, 2009 Same happened to my IWC. Some good blows with my dust blower fixed the problem

The watchsmith opinion was: a very good-looking and robust machinery, it may not give me problems in the future. So all finished well! Oh yes: the bill was 18
