ubiquitous Posted January 23, 2009 Report Posted January 23, 2009 As cool as the Egiziano is, there just comes a point where size is simply ridiculous. A baby E, on the other hand, could be pretty cool. Still not sure I could wear one, but it would be much more realistic than the giant E.

However, if I had the means to afford it, it would probably be on permanent display with other Panerai related vintage items.
mikellem Posted January 23, 2009 Report Posted January 23, 2009 I personally agree with Ubi... This size in my opinion.... Is just toooo large! Just my personal thoughts though... And what do I know...Not much! MM

l3x Posted January 23, 2009 Report Posted January 23, 2009 I've seen wristshots of the 60mm, despite how nice it looks on its own, it'll look clown-like on most people unless you were the Incredible Hulk.

Seriously, I think this should be worn over a jacket. Still a piece of watchdiving history.

But do not forget that the Egiziano was an order, made for a specific reason, and not for promenade parade, some years later,by wackos like us. No?
fishgodeep Posted January 23, 2009 Report Posted January 23, 2009 Great photos ...what a beast that Egiziano is ....a great collectors piece but not an everyday beater I'd suggest... Keen to see what DSN can do ...hell of a project to undertake!! FGD
