wsj_ca Posted January 26, 2009 Report Posted January 26, 2009 Anyone have a copy of Joshua's Beginmariner? I'm trying to figure out how it compares to the Noobmariner, but can't find a review. Are they the same watch?

alligoat Posted January 26, 2009 Report Posted January 26, 2009 The beginmariner is a noob with the PTS Resources 2813 movement in it. I consider the movement to be the best of the Chinese DG2813's. Same noob shortcomings- needs a better pearl, a better crown (smaller- don't know if they've fixed that yet) and maybe a slight trim on the cg's. But good watches for the price- i.e. cheap.
