Wayward Posted January 31, 2009 Report Posted January 31, 2009 Hi guys... Am tryng to scource a Seamaster non GMT version but can't seem to find a dealer who sells them without the awful crystal as in the pic. Anyone on here know where to get one without the coke bottle crystal? Thanks.
Shundi Posted January 31, 2009 Report Posted January 31, 2009 You'll need the "old factory" version or a custom crystal from what I've read... it's tough to find a "good" Seamaster now a-days.... I think there "MAY" be one in the sales section on this board!

Wayward Posted January 31, 2009 Author Report Posted January 31, 2009 Kudos to Shundi, always willing to help a brother. You from NI too mate?
bosk Posted February 1, 2009 Report Posted February 1, 2009 You from NI too mate? For some reason, the blue bond SMPs have OK crystals but the black and electric blue have coke bottles...I replaced my black SMP with a spare crystal from a blue SMP and it made a world of difference. Even chief AR only made a slight improvement in the coke bottle crystal in my Electric Blue. -bosk
bwhitesox Posted February 1, 2009 Report Posted February 1, 2009 Yellowman has a beautiful one for sale last time I looked.

fakemaster Posted February 2, 2009 Report Posted February 2, 2009 Good SMPs are hard to find for sure.
Shundi Posted February 2, 2009 Report Posted February 2, 2009 NI? I'm from MA/CT depending on the time of the year/ what my company wants! I agree with Fakey though...good SMP's are very, very hard to fine... damn He Valve!! Edit- was the NI at me?
smc Posted February 2, 2009 Report Posted February 2, 2009 Not too hard to find, and pretty good prices these days. If you want a gen that is...
