You will need a nicely oxidized case to go along with this in order to pull it off. Hands of course but I'm sure you are working on that.

These kinds of projects are fun.. :) Look forward to the final result.

For the dial, the importanty thing is to seal it afterwards to save the salt crystals getting into the movement. The case is going to a place near me for bead blasting and I am considering a bronze pvd. It will be quite extreme but it will certainly be unique :)

I would say this looks like it belongs at the bottom of the sea. It'll look pretty extreme with an equally beat up case. Love to see the final result.
