Coeuss Posted February 13, 2009 Report Share Posted February 13, 2009 Ok guys need your help, I know this is a common problem and Ive seen all sorts of answers to this problem but they all seem to contradict one another couple of questions though for the experts since i cant screw in the crown 1. Is the problem the crown which has stripped threads or the tube that sticks out of the case? 2. If its the tube then you only need to purchase the tube and not the crown right and then you have to tap out the other tube which is attached to the case what do the experts think Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Coeuss Posted February 13, 2009 Author Report Share Posted February 13, 2009 Ok can anyone tell me if an original screw down crown 069 ST 42184 will fit the rep stem and actually screw down. cib0rgman Posted February 13, 2009 Report Share Posted February 13, 2009 If you want to install a Gen Crown you need to buy a Gen tube. they are totally different. I also believe that the Gen Tube is slimmer and in that case it need to be glue with some kind of glue that expand like gorilla glue.
