TitoSosa Posted February 19, 2009 Report Posted February 19, 2009 Well... im kind of noobie... and looking for a little help... theres an auction site in Mexico called Deremate, and someone its offering a "genuine" Rolex Steve Mcqueen... they claim that is a 33XXXXX circa 1972 model 1655. What should I look for when trying to know if its a gen or not? The pictures are terrible but i think i could ask for better ones. Looking at the bracelet... isnt to modern for this rolex model??? If its a gen... its a great opportunity... so... please... ROLEX EXPERTS help!!!! This is the auction: http://articulo.deremate.com.mx/MLM-26968592-_JM
chubbchubb Posted February 19, 2009 Report Posted February 19, 2009 At this level of cost, I would deposit the money with a lawyer, accompanied by a written instrument instructing him to release the funds to the seller once the watch has been ok'ed by an official Rolex service center in you area.
rkdk Posted February 19, 2009 Report Posted February 19, 2009 sel links from 1972!?!?!?!. not likely unless he changed the bracelet
