Is there any way/method that the scratches on the wtach hands can be removed/polished up?

A great looking watch with scratched hands looks just simply awful.

Thanks for any advices in advance.

I've been able to polish hands (and markers) with a Cape Cod. The problem is that it has a tendency to darken the lume (due to the oils in the cloth).

Thanks, but I tried cape cod before, it is not suitable since hands are not SS rather they are kind of brass with plating. Cape cod will remove the plating leaving the hands with brass colour.

I have not seen brass-plated parts for many years (except on very low end rep parts). What type of watch do you have with brass-plated hands?

And I would agree with Avitt's recommendation of a Cape Cod cloth. I have also used semichrome polish with good results, but it will definitely change the color of lume (I usually relume any hands that need refinishing anyway).
