fotoman Posted August 5, 2006 Report Posted August 5, 2006 http://stores.ebay.com/The-Philadelphia-Collector alright i've been out of the "rep spotting" game for a bit, but looks like a scammer to me.
Pugwash Posted August 5, 2006 Report Posted August 5, 2006 alright i've been out of the "rep spotting" game for a bit, but looks like a scammer to me. First glance says those are photos of genuine watches.
relaxman Posted August 5, 2006 Report Posted August 5, 2006 Something is a miss! Genuine watchs but looks like a scam to me. Check out the buyer on ths auction daytona and look at his status and past purchases. Hijacked account maybe. EDIT those where the offers I guess. Still looks funny to me though MG
fotoman Posted August 5, 2006 Author Report Posted August 5, 2006 http://cgi.ebay.com/Rolex-Stainless-Steel-...bayphotohosting was there a daytona without the offset subdials that are suppposed to be just about 3 and 9 instead of right on? also if you look at his sales its all cheap stuff, a book a wire ect.
Chronus Posted August 6, 2006 Report Posted August 6, 2006 Unless there is a great and long track record of great sales (especially to some members here), then you never know if you get what is pictured. What I do if I go for a genuine watch on eBay is ask them if they are ok with me getting the watch 100% authenticated with the company that produced it, if it's 100% authentic (no after market parts unless stated in the ad) then no problem, I keep the watch, but if it isn't I get a 100% refund including shipping and import/customs charges (if applicable).
