sportecaudi Posted April 11, 2009 Report Posted April 11, 2009 I just received my IWC 5002 BP back from Vac. I had a relume, datewheel fix and PR needle adjustment. I'll tell you that these mods are a must for any 5002 owner. Vac is very professional and extremely responsive. Hats off to you sir! Just a couple pics on a Gen BP Strap.
Clerek Posted April 11, 2009 Report Posted April 11, 2009 Wow...seriously! What a great lume job! The timepiece looks amazing!
lanikai Posted April 11, 2009 Report Posted April 11, 2009 Congrats on being reunited with your baby !! Props to vac.. looks great.. Live Strong and Wear it Well, Lani
im2 Posted April 12, 2009 Report Posted April 12, 2009 !!! very beautiful! You must be really proud wearing it! Nice work vac !
dsv732001 Posted April 12, 2009 Report Posted April 12, 2009 I'm new here,...who is Vac? I was thinking of getting a Bell & Ross BR02 which has a few issues he may be able to fix. If not, I may just go with the watch you have and send it straight to him....unbelievable!
its_urabus Posted April 12, 2009 Report Posted April 12, 2009 @OP, watch looks great. I am so torn between this and the 5004. @dsv, vac is great. the BR02 is great. The 5002 is great. no matter what your choice I think you are going to be GREAT;0
ammandel Posted April 12, 2009 Report Posted April 12, 2009 Wow, nice piece and great pictures to boot! That lume shot is really something.
Guest Sql_pl Posted April 12, 2009 Report Posted April 12, 2009 Hmm isn't the DW still kind of sunken? Or it's just the pic? Also did you do new AR or is it factory one?
grilly Posted April 13, 2009 Report Posted April 13, 2009 sport, I'm about to send a 5002 out to Vac this week for mods. What is the issue with the PR needle? I'm looking at lume and date wheel work as well. Thanks!
Danny_1 Posted April 13, 2009 Report Posted April 13, 2009 grilly, The rep PR needle sits too closely on the dial. Usually the needle is raised with a glue or resin and moved to full power (above 7). Dan.
