  1. Haha Classic! Who the hell said we need a National Broadband Network
  2. Likewise at the office working a bit of over time, given half of brisbane city was flooded for over a week. I'm definitely looking forward to spending a nice summer night with good friends and a few beers though.
  3. Thanks Okay I'll have a search around and see what's out there.
  4. Hey all, I had a bit of work done on my 005G a little over half a year ago. About two weeks ago I noticed that the pin had begun to protrude outward from the crown guard. It was originally flush with the hole as shown. Protruded Original I'm sure this is a pretty familiar problem, but was wondering on some suggestions to safely refit the pin to its original position. Thanks! Daniel
  5. I like the pig buckles you've fitted onto the first two straps. Nicely made straps too man, well done! Dan.
  6. It's got that 'just been recovered from a submerged shipwreck' look about it. A really smart idea for a submersible. Is that the idea you had in mind with the project? Dan.
  7. The pvd work makes your 88 look bad ass! Always a favourite. Nicely done. Dan.
  8. Simple and perfect. The dial and CG look spot on! Dan.
  9. A couple of great watches man. It's a shame they've discontinued the 89 and 91, the anthracite dial on titanium looks killer! Dan.
  10. plaifender, I've got an 005 dial (with correct logo tilt) that I'd be glad to give away. If you are interested pm me at any time. Thanks, Dan.
  11. Sorry i just realised it was a clear caseback (stupid). Take back what i said! Dan.
  12. Hey Guys, I do have an F-Series caseback from an 005 (0018/1200) i purchased a couple of months ago from a member here. Not sure what the production number of the 111 is though. It might be inaccurate in that respects. However, it is going under a big facelift at the moment and i won't have the original parts shipped back to me for a few weeks. If you are happy to wait? Then you can take it off me by all means! Dan.
  13. Sander, this is really incredible stuff mate. I've been checking out a lot of your workings over the last 5 months, and you're moving leaps and bounds. More interestingly, how on earth did you source a 79350 movement?! I think you should consider sourcing a 51110 for your BP 5002, then we would be in business! Dan.
  14. This watch screams out for attention! Those pictures really do this watch justice mick. Did that strap come with the purchase? It's a great combination. Dan.
  15. Great work asim! When that baby comes to my door in a few months, i'll leave it to the pros to do all the tweaks and mods, i have not the tools nor the balls haha. Dan.
  16. Hi RobbieG, I was wondering what sort of UN that was? It's a lot more stripped down than the ones i usually see around. Cheers, Dan.
  17. Oh that's really cool. Good to know i'll have some people who'll understand my sense of humour then! I was down the coast just last weekend, but both the coast and brissy has been pretty miserable with the constant rain at the moment. Anyways offshore i'll see you around the forums mate, Dan.
  18. Hey tissot, Funnily enough i bought a Portuguese 7-days from them a little while back. Although they aren't apart of the trusted rep community here, the guy who runs the business there was very responsive, answered my questions and delivered in reasonable time. Saying that, the Big Pilot he sells isn't very accurate. The dimensions of the case aren't 1:1. If you want to purchase an excellent Big Pilot rep, i'd suggest purchasing the BP 5002 V1 from Josh or Andrew. Dan.
  19. Hey Mike and Offshore, I live up in Brisbane at the moment for uni. Are there any other guys who live up here who can give us a shout out .
  20. grilly, The rep PR needle sits too closely on the dial. Usually the needle is raised with a glue or resin and moved to full power (above 7). Dan.
  21. Thanks ken, I appreciate that mate, See you around the forums!
  22. Hey RWG, how are you guys? I've been reading up over a couple of months on this forum on all sorts of stuff, it's amazing what you guys do! I'm a university student from Australia, who adores watches (particularly the IWC's and Panerai's). But being a student and all, money usually revolves around having a good time, sometimes "too" much of a good time haha. So, i've been searching and searching for that one watch to spent a bit money on. I've decided I'm going to go for a BP 5002 V1 (an absolute classic). I've seen the work done by Sander, Vac and a few other members and all i can say is well done! Lately there has been a sort of BP renaissance going on, and it's been awesome! I know I'm going to enjoy my time here, Thanks guys, Dan.
