It is a heilium relese valve to ensure that after a deep dive the helium that would have built up inside the watch can be relesed rather than popping the glass off the watch (He molecules are smaller than H2O or O2 and will seep past the gasket, then expand as the presure decreses on assent causing a build up of pressure inside the case, i doupt that the valve on the rep is functional) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
