However, your personal preference may vary. Some people like the solid links as they feel a bit more substantial; I know a couple of gen owners who greatly dislike the hollow links. BTW, Rolex has been slowing converting over to solid link bracelets as well. For solid 18K (not TT), links have been solid for some time now. For SS, the change started with the 16622 Yacht-Master and then with the 116520 Daytona. Other models, like the new TOG, etc. have been going solid as well. creation88 Posted May 23, 2009 Report Share Posted May 23, 2009 I just received my MBK/MBW 1665 GWSD which came with a 93150 hollow mid links bracelet. The bracelet it much lighter and tinnier than the 93250 hollow mid links bracelet on my gen 16610 -- the links are quite a lot thinner, which makes it feel a bit cheap and nasty. Having never handled a gen vintage 1665 I'm not sure if it's supposed to be like that. The watch itself is amazing, though -- just going through a light modding process (new bezel insert, crown guard shaving, edge rounding etc.). I'll post pics when it's done.
