Franken Submariner using Seiko diver movement

Hi,

this question is being aimed at the Modders who build their own franken watches:

Seiko movements are very reliable, would it practical to use the Seiko diver watch movement and will it fit into a rep sub case?

If it does fit [with adjustment], then replacement hands, dial and bezel would be required to make a reliable rep sub, has anyone tried this?

Thanks for your comments/opinions

A Miyota 8215 swap into a Sub w/ an asian movement would be one possiblity. With any kind of luck, hand sizes would work, dial feet may be in the same place. The 8215 is very dependable.

Next is a Seiko diver:

Add a set of hands from www.mkii.com- the mercedes hands for Seiko and just enjoy the heck out of the watch- great cheap beater. I'm thinking about doing this one myself. But I need another watch like a hole in the head...
