"Grey Hole" strap on 028

[sssurfer]

A friend who recently began strap making granted me with one of his "Hole Straps".

These are straps with a hole pattern resembling a rubber strap, but actually made of leather, with all the merits of leather: soft, fresh, and perspiring. Due to the holes, they are even exceptionally soft, fresh and perspiring.

I coloured it in grey to match my 028 PVD (color unneveness is intentional).

Amazing how close the finish of the strap matches the PVD of the watch. Looks great on the wrist too!

Nice SSS - Very stealthy indeed ...certainly the strap colour blends with the colour of PVD so it doesn't look like leather

Reminds me of the straps my dad would wear. They'd get nice and worn down around the holes.

I thought it looked just ok after the first two pics, but then I saw the wrist shot. Looks amazing man. Congrats.
