help....overbleached insert..where can i get a new red triangle insert?

i overbleached an insert and was wondering where i can get a replacement..its the vintage red triangle style...thanks

Other than buying a new rep, I do not know of a source for a cheap replacement. However, you can buy a good aftermarket insert here. Also, because this insert is made to fit a gen bezel (or an aftermarket bezel made to gen specs), it may or may not fit a standard rep bezel.

BTW: I just bleached one my self. Here are my findings with these Silix provided pieces:

4 Minutes in 100% Clorox Bleach = Takes the shine away, to a matte finish, but still in "well preserved vintage condition"

+ 1 Minute = very slight patina/fade taking shape.

I held at 5 minutes as I am not going for a beater vintage, but a well preserved vintage.

I would say 6 to 8 minutes to really start showing age.
