rosnik
Hi friends! Finally I'm planning to build, with Domenico help, my first vintage Daytona. I got one DW case for Vj7760, I suppose the dial is rep and it is for that movement too. Now some questions for UBi and Freddy or the other D. Vintage experts guys. -Is the Daytona gen Dial compatible with VJ7760 ? -Can I use Lemania 1873 TRICOMPAX ? To buy one V72 is out of budget for me, sorry......... Thank you for your time. freddy333
Because the sub dial spacing is slightly different, you cannot use a gen dial (or aftermarket dial made to fit a V23/V72) on a 7750. I have never tried to fit a Lemania to a gen dial, but I am pretty certain it would not fit either.
ubiquitous
Unfortunately a no-go for both. Subdial spacing is a bit off on both movements to work with a V72/23 based dial.
rosnik
One extra Q. please. Do the Russian Venus Copy ( bicompax with @6 fixed used on a few reps) accept gen dials? thank you for your time guys!
freddy333
To the best of my knowledge, gen dials (& aftermarket dials made to gen specs) will only fit Valjoux 23/72 movements & their direct variants (like Rolex 727).
