I know there will never be a rep of this watch so maybe I'll buy a genuine one of these days. I dunno what's so attractive in it... but when I saw picture of this watch it was love at first sight.

I almost bought this watch last year. The El Primero movements are supposed to be fabulous. It's nice- but I thought it was a little too busy / colorful. I got a Bell and Ross Pilot Sapphire instead.

The bright, brisky colors is *exactly* that do the trick for me with this watch. Plus the rugged stainless steel "tool watch" appearance... plus all the details that just scream quality... plus very unique appearance.

Just look at the thick, red stopwatch seconds hand, crown and pushers. All pure perfection... I'm in love.

Thanks for the Ebay link Alex. Lots of pics there, saved them all.

It's really a shame that Zenith don't produce watches like this anymore. All their new models leave me cold (design wise).

bt,

reminds me a bit of sector's dive watch (not the 'diving team') but one other they put out a few years back, unfortunately with quartz movement, but rainbow dial and, toolish bracelet in Ti. That is a cool watch, and yes, it looks great... for people who don't really care what others think about the color combo, cause when you're going down several hundred feet, nobody gonna notice.

went through that phase about 8 years ago. you must resist. ownership for this ostentatious piece is usually short lived. Great watch though. great movement.

The colour dial version is more expensive than the black and white one.

I think this watch is becoming a collectors piece. This is my favourite zenith bytheway.

One of the little gens I would buy myself. The rest replicas :)

I agree, this is a great watch. Get it now while prices are still 'reasonable'. It's getting more attractive to collectors all of the time. Zenith's watches are highly regarded and their new lines are spinning out of control which is making the vintage pieces more collectable.

The black and white one is great too.

I saw some nice Zenith reps early this year and then they were gone. I keep looking even now but no more have shown up. I really liked some of the models they reped. Where did they go?
