rolli
hi all, here the pam196 daylight chrono with palpatin crown modification, and gen valjoux 7750 swap with modification. strap: mario paci 5 black homage. important information: you need a new 7750 stem for the palp crown. the drilling in the palp crown is deeper. you can buy only a 1,2mm stem. enjoy yourself !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! rolli

TK471
no !!!! rolli Hm. Some of those pictures make the font look quite bold. It's a great looking watch for sure.
chubbchubb
Hm. Some of those pictures make the font look quite bold. It's a great looking watch for sure. it's because it's a swiss 7750, not an asian one.... the datewheel (font and position) is the only difference between the two that you can see from the outside. The other test is the date quick-change at 10:00h. On the asian movement, it's nonfunctional...
Watchmeister
Crown looks fantastic. Although I will be waiting for a while it is well worth the wait. The date does look very good. Decent font and all black minimizing the additional gap between the datewheel and the dial makes a big difference. You've shown yours and it looks great. Someday when they are done I will show mine. HauteHippie
Excellent!!! I will also be installing the crown on my 7753 196. Did you have to shave the crown lever down at all to get it to close over the thicker crown?
JWR
Is it just me, or are the hands on the running seconds and 12 hour subdial swapped? The running seconds looks awful small... the 12 hour looks awful big...

palpatine
yes, for the palp crown you have to fix the lever. rolli hi rolli, nice work! glad you like th crowns! they look really good! one thing: why did you ahve to use a new stem? but i did not! i installed many crowns now and never had to use a new stem until today. not on my 2893 PAM GMT, chrono 7750 and not on any handwind PAM.... ususally, you have to slightly shorten the original stem, so you can use the one that is installed...
