  1. Been slammed with work at the office, but figured I'd pop in for a sec to say howdy Just rec'd this custom made grey gator and giving it a whirl. It's going through a pretty painful break in period, but it's starting to (slowly) yield to comfort. I'll probably switch back to the Oyster on this one, but the gator is good for a change... Cheers and best! //ubi

  3. It's a tough call, I've a 7ish " wrist and I prefer the 42mm, but that's just a personal preference, I like watches under 43mm or 44mm max. With a 7" wrist you get away fine with either the 42mm or 45mm PO so think yourself lucky with the choice Anything lower than 7" def 42mm only. Do you like bigger watch sizes? Personally I thought the PAM looked great on you sizewise so you'd have no trouble with the 45mm PO. I realise that doesn't help at all btw nice one from Andrew, I'm sure this one will be fine.

  4. The only thing wrong with them is the tag on top of a propper name and the modern designs, Heuer any time, tag heuer never!

  6. Actually, the new Aquaracer (with the ribbed bezel and the plank dial) is REALLY nice. I looked at a gen yesterday. Considering purchasing it. Additionally, their Calibre 1887 movement seems to be pretty good -- and it is basically an in house movement. At least in terms of what is considered "in house" by some of the lesser "luxury" brands like Breitling and to some extent IWC (though IWC does some serious modifications to their ETA base movements). I like Tag. At first I disliked them because they're generally the starter watch for young punks who think they want a watch to show off to people. But to a lot of those guys, they know 3 brands: Tag, Rolex, and Panerai. Beyond that, they couldn't tell an ETA movement from a Japanese quartz. The problem with that is that Tag makes a really great watch. So I couldn't hate them for long. The Carrera Day/Date is an absolute knock out. And their Calibre 16 is a pretty exceptional repurposing of the 7750. My next gen purchase will either be a new Tag Aquaracer or a Longines HydroConquest. Sorry if that was an overly verbose response. This is my first post. Long time lurker, first time poster.

  7. Thanks. I only ask because its a smaller watch than I am used to. 39-40mm is much smaller than the 44-45mm PAMs and breitlings that I have traditionally worn. But it doesn't seem that small. How does it wear?? Seems like it wears bigger than 39mm
