  3. The td's only sale new watches.... in member sales area you can get a watch with modifications already made to get it closer to the gen of that model. Sometimes in member trade area you can get a good deal on a new watch that a member purchased from a td and decided not to keep it.... either way be sure to read and purchase the watch you want, research to be sure and know what your buying before you pay for it.... follow all instructions about making your payment, this ain't quite ordering up a pizza. Always give plenty of time and thought behind any action you make when things don't go quite the way you think they should... welcome to a great hobby and a great forum.....

  4. Sorry for the watch, I have no address where to find the crystal. But for the rooster, I can suggest better than a basic soup. Here in France, we have the classical "coq au vin" (= rooster in wine). You cut the rooster in pieces, and you put it in a big bowl with red wine (a strong one, from south of France, not like Burgundy) with carots and onions cut in small parts. Put enough wine to cover the meat and vegetables (one botle should be ok if the rooster is not too big). You add pepper and herbs, but no salt. You leave it like this during 24h00. After 24h00, take the pieces of rooster and dry it with paper. Put it in a casserole with some oil or butter and small parts of bacon. Make it roasted during few minutes. Pour on it one spoon of flour, and mix. Wait one or two minutes more, and pour the wine with vegetables. Add salt. Cover the casserole, and lett it cook gently during two or three hours. Then, it's ready ! Enjoy it with mashed potatoes (home made, of course !). I recommend to dring a Chateauneuf du Pape with it (powerful red wine from southern France). For sure, this will not repair the watch. But for sure, after your lunch you will think that life is beautiful and the watch can be repaired. One last detail : if you propose to your neighbour to share this lunch with you (tell him it's a pheasant), you will enjoy it much more ! Paul

  7. Hi and thanks to all i stumbled across this site when starting to look for my first rep. and im glad i did i didnt know that there were that many sites selling reps and i didnt know how trustworthey thay were. but i was pointed in the direction of joshua perfect clones by members of this site. so i had a look at first i was looking for a rolex sub but when my wife found out she protested and said if i was going to get a rep that i should get an omega. although she didnt agree with me getting a rep as she sells gen top end watches and reps go against what she does. and she seas plenty of poor quality reps. but she let me get one anyway i think she would have been more anoid if i spent £3000 on the gen. so i picked the 42mm po with the 4813 movement for $148 and placed my order but to my suprise i wasnt asked for payment. but the following day i recived an email asking me to pay sam straps with a re asuring message from joshua at to why so a little un nerved i carried on. and then the next day i recived my qc pictures so i gave him the nod and it was on its way. the next day i recived a sms from dhl saying that thay had collected my item and it was on its way. and to my suprise it arived in the uk 3 days later. it was very well packed in plenty of buble wrap and a polostyrine box so then it was crunch time. time to show the wife. so she went for the kill straight away saying the strap wasnt as smooth as the gen and that the back wasnt quite wright. but then the negatives stoped and she said that the face was spot on and while it was on the wrist you couldnt tell. i think she was a little [censored] that it wasnt crap. so i took it to here shop to remove some links witch went very well the pins came straight out and whent back in just as well and i also showed my wifes boss who was very impressed by the standerd of the watch. i tried to put the pictures on the text but it wouldnt upload so i have had to put then as attachments and sorry about the last one i will blame it on my phone so once again thanks for all the advice and to any one wanting to buy there first rep i can recomend joshua aka perfect clones

  8. Great analysis. It indeed is hard to justify. But IMO so are most mods we do to our reps. Amp deviations in different positions can be caused by numerous of things. Some drop is normal in upright positions due to more friction of the pivots in the jewels. Extreme deviations between horizontal and vertical are mostly caused by badly adjusted regulator pins or improper oiling. However the isochronism makes that the amplitude doesn't effect the time keeping. So whether your watch runs at 200 upright and 300 amp flat. The rate should be nearly the same. Thanks mate. I take that as a great compliment.
