  1. That's hard core. I appreciate the effort, but I am lazy and would rather just spend $100 and wait a week for a gen crown to be delivered while I watch reruns of Sponge Bob.

  2. The Review I remember first setting my eyes on the Rubberclad AP ROO and actually enjoying the sight. The contrast of the black rubber with the stainless steel gives it a very rugged look, whilst the lighter coloured subdials give it a slightly retro look, similar to the Navitimer (which I adore) and the porthole shape gives it a really unique look. One thread a while ago asked us to put photos of our grail sports watches in there. If money were no object, the AP ROO would be my daily sports watch. Unfortunately, the list price being at approximately $21,000 doesn

  8. Best thing o ever did was contract Frag, make way more money, if you have a good accountant, even more so! With your skills you could pick and choose where you would like to work, trust me, people will be desperate to take you on! Also means if you don't like the action where you're working, find another and off you go!

  10. Chrome seconds hand instead of white, and 8500 decoration instead of 8400. Have a look at the Omega section, this watch has been thoroughly discussed.

  11. I agree JMB would be your man. However what yo uare looking for is pretty straightforward, sounds like you need a movement ring installed and the correct hands installed. pretty much any of the repair people/modders on this or the other forums could do that. You should be able to find a watch repair person around your area, I would definitely steer clear of any of the AD's as well as the big jewelry/watch stores. What you need is a guy that's operating a little one man shop in a strip mall or downtown in a small storefront or out of his home. Maybe some of the good folks in the SF area can chime in and help. Also, you might post in the general discussion forum "repair person in the SF bay area. Also search in the old posts.

  13. gray Skyland with numbers on the dial simply put you can wear it with leather, rubber diver or ocean racer and bracelet - always works out other than that, its a simpler movement so easy to maintain or replace in case it fails lastly it doesn't cost too much in the gen form and won't hurt much if it's destroyed, lost or stolen
