  1. Hi guys

During the couple of hours the forum has been offline, RWG has been migrated over to new servers. We were experiencing some issues with the "old" servers, so instead of spending x hours on patching them, I decided to get the datacentre to set up a couple of new servers for us and instead spend my time configuring them and move everything over. In theory, everything should be up and running as normal, but if you experience any problems, please let me know and I will look into them throughout the day.

There might be some "hickups" in the next 24 hours, as I need to reconfigure a lot of stuff, but hopefully I will be able to do all of this in the background.

  2. They have all been banned an all post should have been removed already. If not, report their posts and we will deal with it.

I have put our spam protection system online again, so this shouldn't happen again.

  3. Hi all

We are having some problems with our disk/RAID arrays that is causing some strange behavior on both our web servers and database-servers. Due to this, the forum software has been modified a bit, to run "lighter" for the next 12-24 hours.

Basically, this means that some minor functions might be missing and some numbers (like topic views, numbers, etc) won't be updated as frequent as it is now. Hopefully, this shouldn't be of any inconvenience to most of you.

  4. Hi guys

Forum has been unavailable for a couple of hours due to some corrupted database tables. Finally managed to rebuild them, as I usually prefer this instead of importing stuff from backups so that posts/post content/etc. will get lost.

So all is good and back online.

  6. Well...surprise, surprise......The lottery software was set to draw a winner automatically after 100 tickets had been sold. So after the 100th ticket was sold yesterday, the software automatically selected a winner.....5 days before a winner was supposed to be drawn.....My apologies to those who didn't get a chance to buy tickets, I just have to blame this on startup-problems  Well have a new raffle up and running shortly ;)

Anyways...a big congratulation to the winner....

    Ticket number 10048 GIXXER126

Please contact me with your details by PM

  8. Love the new layout and looks. I agree that the new layout needs a little bit of contrast.

I am fine with white background, but white with pretty light gray (50-60%) make text hard to read. More contrast between unread and read post is needed.

I don't know about other readers, but I think the leading in the menu navigation is little bit bigger. It makes quiet a space between each line.

My suggestion is to add some color. Blue tone color like in the mobile version is a great choice.

    Other than that, great job.

I really love the mobile version. It makes me easier to access the forum. The navigation is great, and it loads fast.

    Great job :)

    William

Well, I have adjusted the font color, so that it will stand out better. Notes taken on the feedback about more contrast needed between read and unread posts.

  9. Thomas does make the other admins look like rookies when it comes to this, but then again,i guess they are.

Keep up the good work, sir. :)

    Thanks, Dave ;)

    Ooohhh...

I just downloaded ForumRunner, and it works perfect with rwg, MUCH better then tapatalk!!!

Both Forumrunner and Tapatalk are great alternatives for mobile browsing or browsing via your iPad. Not sure which one I like the best.... ;)
