I was planning on getting a PVD's case from DSN but I am wondering if the PVD will match if I get a t 60 and PVD it or even a PVD'd t48

T just messaged me and said that the t60 does not come in PVD?? I could have sworn I have seen them??

I know recently T had posted about the t 48 crowns and how the t 60 may not be correct to gen specs. I have been looking at building a 009 PVD and in all the gen pics I can find (not many) The crown seems to have more teeth when compared to the t 48 What are you guys using on yours? This thread has been GREAT! On one hand I would have never know that DSN cases had such flaws BUT now I cannot seem to find anything that will make me happy! AARRGH! Thanks a lot!!! LOL! I think I will wait on my 201/a until a better case surfaces. The knowledge here is impressive!

Hey guys I am working on a project and need to remove the "L SWISS L" from a dial that is otherwise perfect. Any thoughts on how to do this? Scrape it off? Color over it? Some sort of chemical to remove it?? THanks in advance!

Yep I have been hunting for one of those old cases balboa! The hunt is part of the fun! THe only thing I have for my 201 right now is possibly a t-48 Crown!

I wonder how this case compares to the old 005 cases that actually had the 201/A casebacks by mistake?? I recently contacted DSN about a case set and this is exactly one of his pics that he sent me as well. My hunt is on for an acceptable case set as well. Tougher than it looks when you start concentrating on all the little details.

I must say I have been lurking and lurking on the site to gather some info on obtaining a 201/A and seeing all the amazing work you and other artists are doing is gonna have me broke. PM SENT! Hey guys Sorry if this is not the right spot, just let me know. I am looking for a good quality Marina Militare dial (the ones with the engraved text and nice slender numerals) For a 47mm vintage project of mine. I have the rep dial that came with the case that has the painted text and slightly fatter numbers. I have seen some pics of dials here but now cant seem to find them Any help would be appreciated. I also am looking for a thick plexi lens for a 47mm radiomir case. Thanks in advance. I will post in the "want to buy" section as well

Hello everyone! Newbie to this forum but a watch lover for as long as I can remember. Its a pleasure to have found this place as a wealth of knowledge! I have been reading posts and looking at pics for about 7 days now!!!! :) I am really a fan of vintage Panerai and am working on getting 2 pieces done. I have the watches but now need to start the mods (aging the dial and hands, and perhaps the daunting task of replacing the movements!) Any thoughts, suggestions would be much appreciated. These are the watches I just picked up to mod. Thanks!
