  1. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...me=STRK:MEWN:IT i am using not my regular account on ebay so i will not spoil my 100% fedback the account i am using is a second one for bidding on suspicious (items or sellers). Should i negotiate with the seller about payment ? I think to use an escrow service but if he sends a rep and then i ship back the item to the seler the seller might claim that i send him a rep back. How can i be covered that the seller will not try to say that he shiped another item than the one i will send him back This is the worst case senario i think. The best is to give 2.400$ and get the gen but i know this is not going to happen. What you think ? John

  5. I agree on that it was a thread i was started and served its purpose, after that went way off topic. John
  6. As i have seen from friends and people i know that they have gen rolex they do remove the green sticker, some of them didnt even bother to get it out safe they just rip it off. John

  9. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...bayphotohosting so is this a gen for sure ? or just the buyer thought that if the seller had his initials in the back this should be a gen ? good deal for a gen... but if this is a rep ?
  10. The buyer saw the pics below he got the watch using the pay now button... Now tell me the price he paid !!! the guy that took this sub is a watchsmith... so his knowledge is at a high level... (i suppose).. But the fact remain just he saw the 2 pics you see and the info was.. You are bidding on a used Rolex Submariner stainless steel watch. This watch is pressure proof to 1000 feet, has a special time lapse bezel, 27 jewel movement, synthetic sapphire crystal. The watch features an oyster link extension bracelet with a special flip lock clasp and black dial. My initials are engraved on the back, so there is no hologram, but I have all the paperwork, this watch is eight years old with very little wear, I have not worn it very often please do an estimate i will give you the link to this endded auction later..
  11. Thats good news oliver.. I like when those bubbles are deflated.
  12. But 217 is lefty if iam correct, so the officene panerai sould be written upside down. The movement on ebay: Gen 217 so the conclusion is that this movment is not even for 217 so were this could fit (and be like the real deal) ? sure can "fit" in both 217 and 127 but this would be incorrect for those pams. John
  13. Kosta can you tell us a litle more why this in a no go ? Fiddy is only G ? John
  14. Mine arrived before somedays PAM111 and pam 112 in perfect condition, both work fine and they absolutely worth the money, I cant believe even now that this "cheap" reps are so well made.. John
  15. The watch is perfect and it gets alot of wrist time, it has the 2 known obvious flaws (italics in the depth) and 300m in the case back insted of 3000m but i dont care breitling do not have the fake syndrome as rolex do and also is a somehow afordable gen so nobody believes this is a rep. The construction is very good and this watch seems solid, it has AR coat also. I had no problem woth the bezel screws or any other problem, also the ETA works flawless... John
  16. How is he, did he mention anything about his current situatation, does he have the time to deal with watches...? i believe he is not YET in the new RGW. John
  17. Nice Tip.. very nice indeed.... John

  19. If thats true.. i rest my case, second chance maybe allright given and lost. John
  20. I agree, even if i had personal problems with nais, everybody deserves a second chance and in a new forum everything is under a new prespective. John PS. somehow i dont believe this is the "genuine" nais768 could be a replica, lets ask our dealers if a replica of this "model" exists. LOL
  21. I knew PT is a man of his word.. My blue Sub TT 14k gold from PT is a beater in that issue.. just the dial is not perfect as all blue Sub TT reps. But as for the band and the crown this is the best you can have. John
