An apology may be in order... it appears the rep i have is almost a year old according to previous owner.. so, theres either 3 versions of the secs at 6 (closed gears normal rotor, open gears 'updated rotor', and 'new updated rotor uknown gears') or, the dealers just neglected to say that the 'new' one has been around for ages... so please take my post for what it is... a post by someone who assumed that 'updated rotor on new version' meant 'ones with updated rotor was new one' apologies for jumping the gun... but if the 'new one' turns out to be the same as the one i posted pics of... well.. we'll all have a good laugh over it in a few weeks..

nope, the three wheels you indicate do not have jewels... but the subdial wheel pinions have jewels on the top plate as per gen the only thing they did to those 3 wheels you indicated was to 'skeletonize' the gears so they are no longer solid.. they have cutouts now

So, I found Ziggs old post about secs at 6 daytona it looks like the gears are different. in his entire thread, he doesnt mention the top plate nor the jeweling, so im not sure about that so, all ive got to substantiate my claims is different gears and different rotor.

after looking at a few of the dealers sites, it appears that if the 'updated rotor' is any indication (Ive frankly no idea if it does or not, but mine has it), then I have one of these 'new updated secs at 6' movements I can obviously take better pics of the whole thing in a takedown guide, but anyone familiar with the movement (im not familiar with the old secs at 6), does anything jump out at you? The watch was bought busted, and when the module was removed, the watch ran fine... lol... I was reassembling it before my flight home for christmas for repair... im home now but havnt touched it since theres 3 jewels on the top plate and one on the other plate... so thats 4 jewels plus the 7750 which has 25, making the 29j version as stated above is that consistent with the 'old' version? i'm not terribly impressed with it so far.. then again, it c ould be the same as the old version... as ive said, im not famliar with it

I'm frankly confused... it says 'new updated rotor' but its the same rotor as in my old crap seconds at 6... or am i misunderstanding what they mean? or, if everyone elses rotors look different, then i have one of these 'new' secs at 6 apart on my workbench right now... purchased broken...

you arent banned... if banned, your username would say 'removed' or 'pending something or other' its either part of Vb or at least standard admin procedure.. could be an IP range issue... or connectoin issues it takes a long time for RG to ban members... they are slow to do so

Suggestion: Fix the links, they look pretty bad. why is there a little apple key symbol behind the girls head? and, yes, change the name of the watch model... brand text should be bigger, its microscopic

lol well... the thing is... the rep 'factories' arent the ones making the movements. at all. they get them from one of the handfull of CN movement makers, change the rotors, and bobs your uncle. so.. what possible reason could pseduo legit movement makers have to replicate an in house panerai movement? Besides ETA, very few movements have been copied I know the seiko 7009 has been 'repped' some of the miyotas have been repped and the venus 175 (because they bought the tooling from the failed plant lol)

well thats depressing. Anyway, you can get 4 months in the US under the 'alien fiance' form bit, and it doesnt even ask about career, or working.. heck it doesnt even give you leave to work in the US.. just live here... so.. if you dont want to worry about a job, that'd be the route I'd take. then once you're in, you get married within that 4 month span, then file for the real deal Funniest part about that form is this line "If you have not personally met each other, explain how the relationship was established." lol, if they will consider people that havnt even met, im going to hazard to guess that you will have no problems getting at least the 4 months without job, etc. you did say you wanted it to be a year from 3 months from now.. so this will get you through til 7 months from now or delay your plans a few months.. but at least by then you can get your foot in the door and be more able to find a job that would be willing to sponsor you. Much easier if you are already in the country!!

Hope so. I'm pretty sure they are on the lookout for that type of thing, they certianly dont let me 'put it in my pocket for a second', so that poster would likely go get the cops called on him. you'd have much better luck selling it on the bay as real, then taking the money and just *buying* yourself one.. LOL yes, that too is a joke, but his idea was fairly stupid.
