  1. I assume this is purely subjective as it would be difficult to hold up your argument with everyone having varying tastes.
  2. That dial is amazing too. Knowing how bright Seiko lume is also makes it even better. My Orient 300m diver is one of my brightest that I own.
  3. Definitely get the original skeletonized hands on the SMP. I almost got another SMP with the sword hands because the lume on that model is nuts, but the sword hands killed it for me. Also, you've got to see the amazing broad arrow hands on the PO. It's one of the most amazing hands out there IMHO.
  4. Wow simply beautiful.
  5. Welcome 7750. Enjoy your stay.
  6. Guys let's not get overworked here and jump to conclusions. Let's just hope this get's resolved in a positive way for everyone involved.
  7. I think if you follow the simple rule of, "treat others as you would like to be treated", then things become a lot more simpler. Of course, following this course of action doesn't guarantee anything, but it sure does make living life easier.
  8. Wow! Seriously outstanding pics. Enjoy your Pam.
  9. The Zigmeister there is an article in this month's Watch Time of the resurgence of watchsmith's and their skills. There are two schools that run programs to teach the art. The details fail me at the moment, but it seemed like an interesting piece. Here's hoping that the art will make a big comeback. With the rising prices of Swiss watches I'd figure the demand will grow for skilled watch workers?
  10. Really be safe out there all.
  11. LOL After I wrote that and read it it didn't sound like I wanted it to. Being a minority myself, I thought I should clarify. Yep, Pharrell doesn't dress like a rapper. He dresses like a 15 year old EMO. ;P
  12. Shundi... thank you brother for that avi. Puts a smile on my face every time.
  13. LR, I don't know about flaws, but I do know that I personally saw a curious difference between two reps. I saw one rep where the date font was thick like the gen and I've seen another that had skinny numerals on the date font. I forget which of the dealers had the pics up though. Sorry. So... there must be two different versions???
  14. You've got to get the SD MM600!!! It's an awsome watch. Rivals anything out there in every aspect. Everyone needs one in their collection. Some day I'll have one too.
  15. The size is one of the reasons why I like this watch.
  16. Well all I can say is this... you can thank all of "those people" that have driven the price Swiss watches through the roof in the recent years. BTW, when I say "those people" I mean those guys in the entertainment industry. Thought I should clarify.
  17. I thought it was going to be go for about $10k? I've posted about this watch before. I love it! I wish they'd rep this one, but I highly doubt it. There was an article about this watch in Watch Time and it was outstanding.
  18. Awsome review and even better pictures. Thanks for the time and effort. I'm glad that they've begun to rep this model.
  19. Thanks for sharing that great info The Zigmeister!
  20. This has brought up a great point with me. If I had to pick my favorite company of watches it's got to be Omega. I have a personal rule that I always have an Omega in my collection no matter what. I've pretty much owned various Swiss lux models before and none of them have the "package" like the Omega does. It's cheap enough to beat up a bit and not have a heart attack and it's sporty enough for any sport and yet classy enough for Bond to wear to a black n white dinner. A great combo IMHO.
  21. If the seller is a reputable member I'd say give him a few more days to reply. As you said, sometimes life/work/crack addiction get's in the way to our little hobby. If after a few more days there is still no reply. You could ask the mods/admin to give you a hand. If you still have no luck, then you could air all the dirty laundry you want. Good luck.
  22. I will resist buying a 187! I will resist... Such a nice 187! Enjoy.
  23. Well I can definitely say from personal experience that the SMP is more comfortable to wear daily. It might be the size of the PO or maybe the bracelet, but IMHO the SMP bracelet is "the" most comfortable and stylish one out there. So... have I made it any easier??? ;p
  24. I've owned both gens and currently have the 45mm PO on bracelet. The PO is a superior watch based on the specs, but the SMP isn't all that far behind. I think it's really a personal choice based on the design and asthetics of the two. The blue dialed SMP is/was one of the most comfortable, go anywhere, do anything, tool watches I've ever had. I'm sure the PO can do the same, but I haven't had the same amount of experience with her. If money isn't a concern I'd say go for the PO. If you want to stick with the classic Seamaster design for with the SMP. Good luck and you really can't loose with either.
  25. Welcome rookie. You've come to the right place. Enjoy your stay.
