  1. Happy B-day TT!
  2. Make sure you use the proper screw for the proper hole. What I mean is that on some PAM reps the two screws that hold the CG to the case are different sizes in diameter and lenght. Please don't ask me how I know this as it'll bring back some painful memories, but this is what I've learned. Try it and see if it works. Good luck.
  3. Welcome Bob and enjoy.
  4. Another one bites the dust... great work dadog!!!
  5. Welcome. Glad you made your way over here. Hope you enjoy your stay.
  6. I didn't have the 5000 Mil, but I had a 5000T for a short time and for some odd reason it didn't do it for me. It lost a tiny bit of Doxa's traditional character IMHO. Very nice watch, but for some reason I decided to keep the 750 instead.
  7. I usually tend to like domed x-tals more than flat, but I can live with it I guess. The case is what does it for me with Doxas. Nothing out there has such a unique case IMHO. Oh, and the bead bracelet is awsome. One of the most comfortable out there. I just wish it was 24mm. They did address this with the 5000's though.
  8. Thanks for the info guys. Come to think of it, I think I liked the 750's more because of their larger size. I know it's only a tiny bit bigger, but every little bit helps.
  9. Hey does anyone know what the differences are between the 750T's and the 1000T's? I know this info for the 5000T's, but I forgot about the 1000T's. Thanks in advance. z
  10. I wonder why nobody has rep'd a Doxa. Seems to me there's enough interest for it. Especially since I've seen some reps that are more niche than popular to the general public.
  11. Welcome Pete.
  12. Welcome Fly and enjoy. You've come to a great place.
  13. Thanks Nanuq. Trade? Never... She stays in her tube most of the time. I've had several generous offers for trade and sale, but me thinks she'll stay with me to the grave. The other Doxa's have come and gone, but this one is a keeper, espeically since this was a limited edition never to be made again. I had the newer 5000T's, but for some reason it didn't appeal to me as much as the 750T's. Great watches.
  14. Ok, here is one... Yes, the Ploprof is also an awsome watch! I didn't have $15k to buy one so I got in on the pre-order for the Ocean 7 LM-7. A homage to the Ploprof and I can't wait till she arrives home.
  15. Welcome.
  16. Welcome.
  17. Doxa's are very cool. I've owned several in the past and still own one. The Mil Sharky. The thing wears very small for it's size and is extremely comfortable to wear due to it's bead bracelet. I'd highly recommend this watch to anyone. It's got a history to match any out there to boot.
  18. Welcome back.
  19. I shouldn't be surprised by The Zigmeister's skills anymore, but every time I see his work I'm floored. Congrats on the watch and awsome work The Zigmeister!
  20. Welcome Seb. You've come to the right place. Make sure to spend lots of time reading and researching info before making any purchase. It'll pay off.
  21. Wow thanks for sharing those pics! Looks like you all had an awsome time.
  22. Welcome.
  23. Watchadoo bracelets are awsome. They give an old watch some new blood. Great Monster you got there.
  24. I just wanted to throw this out there, but if any of you guys want to part with some of your watches feel free to let me know...
  25. Welcome Yan. It looks like you've already got a good start in the rep world. Take some time to do a lot of reading. The answers to your questions are here.
