Good luck with the new job... I am surprised I haven't seen any replies with the gratuitous use of finger, touch, mount, unmount and uptime in them yet

Gen PAM Crowns - No More Requests Being Accepted

There is always risk in these things, it shows just how good a dealer Sash is by the fact that he views this as a shared risk. As for the delay ,if you don't have patience with collecting reps then you should not be doing it, I for one will wait and then work with Sash for a win win resolution if it does indeed turn out to have been seized.

Tourby, Thanks for the info. Are they different in the 21k vs 28.8k movements, or are there two size winding stems for the 28.8k model ? Any idea on getting hold on a new one ????
-
A friend of mine has managed to break the crown stem in his Asian 7750 PAM196, does anyone know where I can get a replacement stem ?
-
Having done business with Sash before, I have no problem in joining this group buy.
-
Richard, I'm interested

azgjav, I can't make it out from the pics, but you say this has an engraved rotor ? From all the other pics that Angus et. al. have posted it looks like the writing has been applied and is actually raised from the surface of the rotor.
-
Kruzer, What do you mean by double cyclops mechanism ? Do the Gens have a cyclops on both the inside and the outside of the crystal ?
-
Lovepanerai just posted a review of his IWC Chrono and has a very clear shot of the crown with the etched background. I have looked on the web at the Gens and cannot find a shot that clearly shows that they do not have this etched background so I may have to drop into an AD to take a closer look. In either case I think it is going to be very hard to polish this out without dulling the crown pattern.

Chieftang, As per our PM count me in for 3

This is not a residue of any kind, it's deliberately been etched to look like that, as far as I know the gens are the same.

Who's Waiting For Angus' Chronomat Evolution?
nelly replied to Rolexman's topic in The Breitling Area
Angus, Can you clarify Which models have the steps on the hour markers, as some of the pictures and descriptions don't quite match ? -
I had a PAM005 with the black printing on the back and used nail varnish remover with a blunted toothpick to clean it off, it worked a treat. If you have to go and buy some from the store then make sure you put on a big manly watch first

Who's Waiting For Angus' Chronomat Evolution?
nelly replied to Rolexman's topic in The Breitling Area
Hmm.. My better half already thinks I am getting obsessed by this watch collecting lark. If I get your 3rd Ver Graphite dial to complement my 2nd Ver White, do you think that would push her from the "thinking" phase into the out in the open "knowing" phase ? In that state I may be forced to attend one of the GTGs, stand up in front and admit that I do a bit of replica from time to time, but hey it's not a problem, I can handle it -
Who's Waiting For Angus' Chronomat Evolution?

I'll try and post some pics later , however the version you posted must be an earlier one (see below) http://www.trustytime.com/index.php?main_p...roducts_id=1030 The one I have has the dual concentric rings on the dial, the concentric rings on the subdials and the same date window border as the one shown by Angus. The only difference as far as I can see is that "Automatic" is black on my version and red on Angus's. -
Who's Waiting For Angus' Chronomat Evolution?
nelly replied to Rolexman's topic in The Breitling Area
I just received the current Chronomat Evolution version from Andrew and the AR on that is better than any other watch I have purchased to date (IWC Ing, various PAMs, SM Chrono, FM Conq etc.). I can understand waiting for the lovely graphite dial but why is the AR on Angus version going to be that much better ? -
Iyho, What's The Most Perfect Replica Available Today.
nelly replied to crystalcranium's topic in General Discussion
I am surprised that two others are not on your list - 1. Breitling Chronomat Evolution - I just got mine from Andrew and I have to say it's up there with the Ing and the FM (I have both . It does not have an obvious date font problem and also has pretty good AR. 2. Breitling Bentley GT - The date font needs to be slightly bolder but other than that it's damn good. -
Swiss Copy Movements Available In Europe -any Interested?
nelly replied to t's topic in General Discussion
if you can get the Asian 7753 is there any chance you can you get the Asian 7750 28.8 movements ? -

It has a border added to the date window compared to the original model but it also has the back from the AMG model which doesn't match the dial (the AMG dial has a recessed circle in the middle which cuts through the number 10)

Family comes first, the rest of us watch buying public come somewhat further down the list. May our prayers go with you.

I received mine in the post with the clasp broken in the same place, it does seem to be a particular weakness in this bracelet. I got mine from EL who kindly me sent a complete new one when I informed him
-
OK, fess up... I have only seen this one on a strap, where did you get the bracelet from ?
