I have a rollie dj rep with automatic Swiss eta 2824 movement which does not get too much wrist time.Should I unwind the crown or is it better to keep the watch running as much as possible? also is it possible to manually wind this watch by winding the crown as opposed to wearing it and moving around with it?

i hv the fluted bezel 18k full gold dj and it's beautiful. i think there's been a discussion abt the fluted and rounded. just do a search.

hi porsche356a, is the gen crystal thicker than what's in the rep? i hv a rep dj from joshua ; one of the things that i noticed is that the crystal is not very thick but i don't have any gens to compare to. what's your knowledge about this? thx. rgds

Hi , I had recently bought a rollie dj full gold from joshua.quite pleased with the watch. my only hesitation is that being unfamiliar with rollies is the color of gold because when i compare the color to a true 18K gold bracelet, the color in the rollie seems less yellow. the watch was advertised as 18K but the color is prob closer to what i think is 14K. question : is this consistent with what's in the gen ? any advice or insights ? rgds

Hi, I've just joined a consulting company and noticed that most of the consultants wear Tag Heuers and cuff links. What's your experience if any of you work in the consulting industry? Would a watch with lots of bling factor be frowned upon ? What would your suggestions be for this line of work? Thanks

Hi, Is there a chance that dealers send you the cheaper version if you buy the more expensive version e.g the one with AR coated and Sapphire and Swiss movement for $250 ? Just how do we know whether we got what we paid for. I'm just worried that if I order the more expensive version I might end up getting the cheaper version. How to tell ? Nick
