  1. Thanx for the excellent explanation. Everything you said makes sense. Unfortunately, the previous owner screwed up the actual pusher part so I need the entire subassembly I believe. I could not get the sliding part to slide any more and snapped the screw off trying to fix... Know where to get replacements?
  2. This one above next to the 188. Sorry for the bad pics..
  3. Thanks. I guess I could glue it in. Were you able to get parts or no?
  4. Does anyone know how the pushers are attached to the case on the ferrari? I bought one that was "stuck" and the pusher fell out one day. I just found a piece that looks like a spring that I do not know if it belongs. Other than this, Is there a source for replacements? Want to fix the rep as it is beautiful otherwise. If I cant, I'll offload this for parts and pick up another.... Any help is appreciated...
  5. Looking to sell or trade my GMT. Black face, 50 anniversary caseback. Watch is in very good condition. Comes with special anniversary bracelet with gold inlay in the buckle. I posted in the supporter area but thought I would see if there was any interest here. I am looking for a fully modded chronograph (Non Omega, Non Tag) for trade. Looking to see if there is any interest before I sell outright. Must have a swiss engine (7750, 7751, 2892, etc...) Let me know if you are interested....
  6. I have this old Deployment buckle for a monaco 1969 strap. I assume rep.. It is 20 mm, double lock pushers and stainless steel. If anyone is interested let me know. Here are some shots....
  7. Can the Panerai Ferraris be fitted with a genuine 7750? There may not be a good reason to do so, just wondering. Has anyone done this here?
  8. PM me with your email. I make custom straps. I'll send you some pics. if you like the gunnies below, I can duplicate. Send me the dimensions and i can complete quickly.
  9. Yes. Once the strap is made, you do not want to trim on the outside. You can try and get a rotozip or a dremel with a very small abrasive bit and "drill" against the section that butts the case, or manually you can use a jewelers file to work the inside down. It will take a bit of patience not to mess up the ends. Let us know...
  10. You can not do anything and maintain the integrity of the strap. I make custom straps and if Zack used 2-3mm leather, it will do this if you do not remove material at the case connection point. I dont presume to say how he made his but I have made a few straps that have this problem and bought several that have had this issue. Common on the thicker straps. You can try and remove the tubes as mentioned to allow the leather to flex more but that's just about it without trimming material. Let me know if you want straps that do not have this issue and I'll whip up a couple for you.
  11. I make custom straps. Let me know what you are looking for and I will custom make one in the neighborhood of $40-80. If interested, Ill send pics...
