Any watch with 369 is Da Bomb!
Love it! Course, it is very busy.....Typical Breitling...

I paid for a gen deployant so that I could make custom straps for it. I also held one of the reps to make a strap for one of our members here. I would absolutely go for the rep deployant if I could find them regularly. If there are any differences, which I'm sure there are, most would not notice and the functionality is the same. Generally the clasps are near the $150 mark on the bay without strap. Gen gator straps are very pricey.....Quality is pretty good though....IMHO. Not worth what they go for, but good quality compared to most OEMs.

As many of you remember, I was contemplating building a great Franken B'ling.
I had an S/A bought from P8b some time ago and decided to give it a whirl.
I had a spare watch with gen 7750 lying 'round so I sent both watches to BikeMike for his craftsmanship. Result is stunning to say the least! I believe the donor S/A is a version II but not sure. I paired it with a Blackbard coach strap done some time ago for myself and I think the pairing is absolutely perfect! Better in person....
Great Kudos goes to Mike for great attention to detail and work!
Now on to some crappy pics....And yes, the bezel is slightly dirty...My fault not Mikes!:

Dude! Great work!

Shweet! I also love the "oxidized" deck boards you purposely staged for these pictures.....:-)

Agree with Red...029 all the way...Even though it did not suit me...

no harm in trying...

I just sold a watch with these. I'll check to see if I have any straps like this lying around. Easiest way to attach would be to cut a "groove" carefully in one end of the strap where it attaches to the watch. You could then insert the quick release springbar. Only issue would be the integrity of the strap once this is done unless you can cut the groove without going all the way to the end and still fit the spring bar in...
Good luck!

Far as I know, the strap has to be made for these. This is a quick release spring bar found on many watches. Usually, this spring bar is a permanent fixture of the strap.

Good luck with this situation BB,why people dont allow others to know If there out of town or not I will never know.I have a bad feeling when I hear about these things, again good luck. If you dont get your stuff, off with there head
Thanks. I usually try and give the benefit of the doubt....I have forgotten to ship stuff before when I have had a big order but at least I respond to emails....

At least he could finish the edges......
BTW, Ammo is not good leather......for the most part...And it stinks....But it does have some historical interest....If you are into that kind of stuff....

I kind of figured this was a little excessive. Now, if he would answer emails and PMs I would not have an issue......
-
Not sure where he is...I'll give him another week or so to reply. May be on vacation.....

How long is reasonable to expect a member here to ship a purchase within CONUS? Particularly when they are not answering emails....
He's been a member since 08...

Nice review.
Would love to see the FGD dial compared in the 002 corresponding versions.

Much obliged!
There's a strap maker and a caseback tool producer on the board called Blackbard.....

I'll take the gen crown....
Is it manual?
There is a seller that sells gen titanium for $80 on Ebay....Ive never seen a gen SS for sale...

Pm with lug size and I'll get it together for you..... Do you want it darker? Pm with instructions...
Mate as they say in Italy or Brooklyn thats an offer I cant refuse !!!
I must say that the strap you made and in the wristies really suits the 300 IMHO not so much in pics but on your wrist. It also looks great on the vintage and 47 PAMs. The blue though needs to be slightly darker than the one on the CF strap. The CF is nice but I think that is more to do with the blue stitching IMHO the CF doesnt seem to suit the style of the Mare which after all is a vintage look.
It was never a divers watch unlike most PAMs it was for Deck officers hence why theres no CG and the water resistance was on 30M, also the bezel was for making pencil marking when these guys were on watch. So a divers/modern type/style strap I dont go for me but hey thats just me

Let me know. I'll stitch one in blue for you and make it a bit bigger to fill the gaps....Some wristies as requested, on my favoured strap which I think looks better in person. Though I would be tempted with this or slightly darker with a blue stitch. What do you think??

Carbon really sets the hands off. Of course, I like the first one.....
Let's talk about Gen vs .Rep Deployment buckles for a quick second

Yep, Understood. I was referring to the leather strap deployant. I have my gen 20mm one from my EVO and I purchased a gen 18mm one to make gator deployant straps. They are nice and A LOT cheaper than OEM....
