So every hand is moddable bar the subdial hands(centre holes too big) If i could get hold of the original subdial hands froma tag chrono i could use these with another movmt. Is the swap worth it? I read that The Zigmeister thinks the asian movmt is ok. Anyone have any first hand failure stories?

Hi all Can somebody confirm this info for me please. from the various posts i have read i gather i cannot change from a A7750 28800bpm to a genuine valjoux 7750 with out doing some work to the hands? On one post i gathered i had to enlarge the subdial hand mounts but on another it said the opposite. What is the correct way needed? Do i have anything to gain by doing this swap or are the A7750 reliable enough? Many thanks Andy

I am posting this now as i feel it needs to be said from me. I came here by accident,after searching the net for "That right watch". I came as a total newbie to this hobby,i didnt even know half of these superb watch brands existed. Since reading the boards many threads and excellent advice,it has become a tight gripped obsession. I pm'd a member out of the blue to ask advice as to a uk dealer,was i met with silence? No way i was greeted on my return to a box on my screen stating i had a pm I read it expecting to get a roasting for pm'ing a stranger but instead got a reply with some of the best advice and reassurance i could have hoped for(Thank you so much,you know who you are). I then proceeded to jump around the new posts,feeling like i shouldnt intrude,until finally i plucked up the courage to jump on in. This was met with a friendly greeting and another pm. This place was unbeleivable!! I felt as if i had been welcomed into an elite group. The time came for me to choose my dealer and place my first orders,i did this with much trepidation,i posted and OH NO what had i done! Sending cash to a stranger,i felt like a fool,the members here took this in hand and finally got me a reassurance like no other. I know i am just a Newbie here but i feel more and more welcome everytime i log on(Everyday :lol: Told you it was becoming an obsession). So after all the rambling,What does RWG mean to me? It means a new hope that i have finally found an online community that is Honest,friendly,funny,welcoming and hopefully a part of my life for a very long time. I would just like to say a big thankyou to the people i believe are the reason i am here still. I read and reread all his reviews and came to the conclusion he could be trusted,but could find no trace of how people paid. I asked him how he wanted paying and he said"Place the cash in a cd/dvd case with your email address and send it special delivery to this address............." I took it as being his normal payment method. I still feel he can be trusted with this,as he has given me no reason to worry. Many thanks for your replies.

Ah i see where the misunderstanding is now,I didn;t literally put it in an envelope,It is inside a dvd case and in a jiffy bag. PT asked me to do it this way. Sorry my phrasing was not very good,i used the phrase as a description of how it felt to do it.

I Presumed this is how it happened i can find no trace,using the search function,how previous orders with this dealer were payed.. The Dealer i chose to use is Precious Time,as i am in the Uk,and this is how he asked me to pay. All my emails and pm's were answered promptly and courteously and he has given me no reason not to trust him. Do other people in the Uk pay PT in a different way?

I was asked to do it this way and sent it insured mail,the dealer i used is highly praised on this board so i took the plunge. If it doesnt work then i chalk it up to experience and try a different way. I have no doubts this will be ok.

Well i have taken the plunge. Today i placed my order and sent off the funds. I ordered a tag link chrono in blue face,rolex datejust TT with Mop face and diamond hour markers. I still cant believe i have just sent an envelope full of cash to a person i have neither seen or heard. They come highly recommended here and by personal recommendation so i have no doubts it will all be ok,but still it seems like lunacy to do this The bug is biting hard, ihave 14 days to wait and already i am making a new list of the next watches i want. The Omega classic seamaster is a calling me now!! I just cant wait to get these watches on my wrist. Must go now off to watch the letterbox :lol:
