Straps where easy to come by but I had trouble finding a clasp. This one does not appear to be perfect to my noob eyes but it should do for now! I never did find a really good picture of a true Rolex deployment clasp for a leather band so I am not even sure what it looks like!

I also found and original, new, deployment clasp for one of my Panerai straps. I prefer deployments. Most places I knew of wanted to sell the strap and the clasp but I only needed the clasp as it is going to go on a new TC alligator strap I have. Honey Tan Alligator on Rose gold Panny looks nice!

I found a black leather, aligator pattern, with deployment clasp on ebay and decided to give it a try. Seller was chris41806, item number 8931654657. He has them in black and brown. It didn't look to bad in the pictures. I am only going to use it occasionally so it need not be the top drawer. Will let you know once it comes in!

That is a nice combo. Have a resource for one in black? Deployment clasp?

Obviously you have a problem but to wind the watch the crown should not be pulled out. That is only to set the hands. It does sound as if the crown stem maybe a little short.

Thanks. The dealer is sending me a replacement watch. I just hate to think that a watch this beautiful will hit the junk pile.

It sounds like the crown stem is too short. I think The Zigmeister has mentioned that this is a problem with some of the watches.

That's about all I can contribute...

Crown stem to short eh? Is that why it winds (or at least attempted to) with the crown pushed all the way in? I am a complete noob to this but I always thought the crown had to be pulled out to wind. Am I wrong on that?

I have a rep of a PAM00158 from one of the dealers here and I am having some issues with it and wondered if any one would have advise on what is wrong with the watch.

The movement is listed as a Lemania manual working chronograph movement. From what I have read, a Venus copy.

The winder has always been hard to engage. I figured out after a while if I tilt the watch so that the crown faces down and the crown is pushed all the way in, that it would engage more frequently. Even so, while winding it often will disengage itself. Yesterday I looked down it had stopped all together. I attempted to wind it but could not get it to engage.

Any thoughts on what might be wrong?

Is a replacement movement available? If so from where and what do they run?

My only two so far are from Josh. A Daytona and a PAM 158. Beautiful watches and they are working perfectly.

I did it to myself...... I was changing the strap on a Rose Gold PAM 158. The screws where in there like they where welded into place. I got them out, all but one, but damaged the heads.
