Hi fellows: I have been in this forum for about four years, but I have not posted much. I usually read the WATCHES trade section and this has developed my interest in franken watches. I think assembling Franks is a lot of fun. Maybe more than than collecting standard replicas. I have already modified (with the help of my watch master) a Rolex Oysterquartz, Omega Speedmaster and I'm in love with the Tudor Montecarlo. I already have the Valjoux 7734 movement, the hands and the dial (aftermarket) Now comes the difficult part; the case and crystal. I have tried with a couple of replica Daytona cases and an Invicta Speedway but the movement height is not enough. I checked the internet and found one supplier, who guarantees the movement will fit in the case but it's a little expensive. A few years back I bought a ETA powered rep AP Royal Oak and a Panerai Radiomir (the big one) with a Swiss 6497 movement. Buying a replica is no equivalent to owning the real thing but,it sure gives the owner the feeling of wearing a $ 5 or 10 K watch, spending a fraction of the cost of the genuine. Hi: Welcome to the forum. I read a lot here and post very little but your question is quite challenging and deserves as many answers as possible. Ladies reps are not as common as mens reps. This is a sort of male adiction. Still there are quite a few replica watches for women that will make you happy. Rolex, Omega and Breitling seem the perfect balance. I think your choices will make happy any collector. I personally would drop the Ebel and Fish and I'd ad the IWC Ingenieur and the classic Breitling TT Chronomat with a blue bezel. Congratulations and thank you for sharing. Jaime
