  4. Any suggestions....
  5. Hi, got a gen 20mm brushed Rouleaux/bullet bracelet on the way and on the hunt for an accommodating rep watchhead. Idealy would like an old style Chronomat or a Colt chrono. Any sources suggestions or alternatives to showcase this iconic unique bracelet?
  6. Hi, Been on the interweb hunt for a rep Yellow Schuey Speedie. I have a red one (with the 12-6-9 subdials as opposed to gen 3-6-9 layout) from Fethiye in Turkey 10 years ago. It's still going strong but I always regret not getting the yellow version too. Anyone ever seen a rep in the wild or available?
  7. Hi, saw this gen in an ADs window today and found the rep here (see link). Anyone know of this rep and it's quality. Gen is quartz too so not a problem for me. Also anyone dealt with this dealer before as I haven't been able to source it elsewhere. Tag Link Diver 200m Thanks

Hi KB, have you had a chance to look at my PM re PS accessories?

  9. Strange request this but does anyone know of a watchsmith within the UK that would be willing to get my first ever rep up and running again? It is a mid-size Tag Heuer SEL/Link, chrome plated quartz, that I got (bought by my Dad no less) in Niagara-on-the-lake in '95 when we were on holiday. I think the shop was called Real Fakes Genuine Imitations (great name eh). The watch was my daily beater for my uni years and often got admired in a trashy sort of way. However it stopped working in '02 and I tried some watchsmith DIY on it after drunken reading of some watch forums. I thought I could easily swap the movement for another. Well low and behold I don't think I'll be taking George Clooney's offer of an Omega watch apprenticeship any time soon - I killed the existing watch movement, broke the dial feet and bent the hands! Recently I have been looking at it in amongst my POs and SuperOceans and wishing that it could tick along side these new pretenders as the genesis of the hobby that keeps me glued to the forum. Anyway I recently got in a batch of other watches an Accurist tag homage that looks just the right size to swap the movement into the Tag case and hopefully will allow the dial to be stuck onto. Not wanting to risk any highstreet replica wrath I was hoping to source some kind UK based individual to resurrect my original rep from the watch graveyard. Any help kindly appreciated.
  10. aramid - can you give us strap details too?
  11. Any chance of disclosing the sellers I'd on the 'bay?
  12. Have been getting into wearing watches with some gold at present and noticed this in an AD's window yesterday secondhand, but still above my price range. Any reps of this model that members know of?
  13. To the cartel... DO IT!!!
  14. Thanks for the input guys. I think however I'm going to go against the grain and go for the Pam. Not wearing anything with a leather band at the mo and also had a few battery changes so that's put me off quartz. So the manual wind on steel gets the nod. Has any one had experience with the same bracelet or have a wrist shot? Definitely prefer this to the old style pam bracelet. Will update when it lands.
  15. Are they really that bad? I'm not looking for 1:1 likeness ( do Pan even make this model?). Is it solid? Is the Unitas mvt not a bit of a workhorse?
  16. Hi guys, In the hunt for my next purchase after my Bre SuperOcean from lufcmattylad. I have narrowed it down to these two: http://www.watcheden.com/zenith-el-primero-fondroyante-1-10th-of-a-second-working-chronograph-with-silver-dial-leather-strap-i-56215-p-1.html or http://www.watcheden.com/panerai-luminor-marina-unitas-6497-movement-with-black-dial-s-s-lefty-version-i-56004-p-1.html Thoughts/experiences/alternatives welcomed. Ideally would be going for a Tudor Monty on the retro grand prix feel but the Zenith may fill that gap for a while. The pam would make a nice compliment to my Ploprof. How does the new style bracelet look in the flesh?
  17. Re 22mm lugs I'd be interested in that as I have a mesh to use and always fancied a SOH. Scruffy-are u able to post a site that lists this version? Cheers
  18. Hi, been trying to source one of these from Andrew but with no success. He thinks they have been out of stock for months!?! Did you, Doofus, have some special combination of words to make him acquisce? Finally does anyone know of a quartz Slevin?
  19. Just saw this post over at TZ-UK, hopefully this will lead to a rep later this year or 2011: Tudor Monte Carlo
  20. Hi, Been getting into the TT this year on ITV4 here in the UK. Interestingly they use Graham as official timekeepers and have a special edition to celebrate this. A true gladiatorial timepiece. Limited to a 100 pieces though. Chronofighter TT Another special edition released this year by Ulysee Nardin is for the famous Cresta Run. These guys are crazy like the solider who survived tours of Iraq and Afghanistan only to lose his lower leg on a wild run on the Cresta. Only 12 of these watches available from the Cresta clubhouse in Switzerland. UN Cresta Run What chance we will ever see these at a less eye-watering price?
  21. This association always makes me wonder why we haven't seen a rep of this. The nearest is the Senna chrono that has the correct case but different dial layout. Why have our friends not taken it one step further and given us the Bourne watch there would surely be a market for! Found this on the bay as another 'homage' contender:
  22. Didn't have much success in my first mail to them, but will try again. If no-one has seen one from other sellers it is probably marked correctly as 46mm on the page. Will let you know.
  23. Didn't have much success in my first mail to them, but will try again. If no-one has seen one from other sellers it is probably marked correctly as 46mm on the page. Will let you know.
  24. Bump - no one got this?
  25. Hi all, Hopefully someone out there can help. Have decided on my next timepiece - Bre SO Heritage 38 not the oversized 46 as I don't think my wrists are up to it. Anyway, usually I like my reps to be cheap and cheerful, so I selected Watcheden as my prefered choice having dealt okay with them in the past. Trouble is I cannot get them to confirm whether the watch is 38mm as the original or a zoomed up 46mm version. Anyone biten on this yet or have a correctly sized model from any other seller. http://www.watcheden.com/breitling-super-ocean-automatic-with-black-dial-and-bezel-i-17912-p-1.html Finally does anyone know a source for a rep Ocean Racer strap 20/18 with deployment clasp. Does the clasp from the 24mm strap fit all straps? It looks quite tapered, kind of like the omega mesh clasp fitting all sizes 24-20mm. http://www.puretimewatch.com/products_pictures/BRE-CR-RS-V1-BLK-01.JPG Any help appreciated.
