  1. wow, very nice! how did you split the SELs from the bracelets? I have a v2 bracelet and a v1 bracelet and want to put the v1 SELs on the v2 hollow midlinks bracelet. How is this possible without damaging the bracelet?
  2. Congrats!!! I have to say that I am a little jealous!
  3. Really? I use it on my mac all the time and never had a problem... if it really is a problem I am really sorry... did not know there is a problem! Not quite sure if I should keep or sell it. I answered to your pm... Just to be clear. This should by any means not be a backdoor sales thread!
  4. I thought the 14060 have the same inserts... same size... I agree... could be a sea dweller, but when I compare it to Sea Dwellers on the net, the 4 in 40 looks different...
  5. Hi, wanted to buy a new bezel insert for my gen 16610 Sub from an AD in my town... I told them that I wanted to install it myself (because I thought this way I can keep my old one for sure) anywas... when I was home I realized this inlay did not fit. (too small) By chance I had an appointment today next to another AD today and was wearing the watch, so I just went in and got another (fitting) one for it. So now I have a gen insert I have no use for, because it doesn't fit my watch... I think I won't bring it back and just keep or sell it. Since I don't know which watch this is for, I need your help! Outer diameter is about 36mm inner diameter about 30mm. (can't measure more precisely) anyways.. here are two pictures... please help me!
  6. Most of the reps sold in mbk are unfortunately very low quality ones... there are very few "good" ones... If you find a good one they are so overpriced and you have to hassle quite some time to get a price that is slightly better than we'd get from our dealers... not worth it in my opinion. Only plus is that you have the actual watch in your hands without waiting and can check it for flaws yourself.
  7. have the same with mine... you are ok! besides your taste of music! maybe you should see a doctor about that
  8. it's just such a pity that you are not in the EU, The Zigmeister! Great work, as always!
  9. what do you think about this? http://repgeek.com/showthread.php?t=118160
  10. Thanks for the links! I will take a look around there... what do you think about this offer? http://kleinanzeigen.ebay.de/anzeigen/s-anzeige/rolex-gmt-master-ii-keramik-neues-modell-40mm-ref-11671oln/11192198#uhren-rolex-gmt-master-ii-keramik-neues-modell-40mm-ref-11671oln
  11. Hi, I am looking for a used gen GMT-Master II (116710 LN) within the EU. Does anyone have tips where to get one for a good price? thanks in advance!
  12. excellent review, The Zigmeister!!!! thanks a lotfor giving us a little insight in this "new" movement!
  13. that is the best he could do. picking it up means you have to open the package there. if there are any replica parts in it is confiscated and you'll get a letter from the watch brands lawyers. if you don't pick it up they'll send it back to the sender, so the item wont be lost.
  14. I'll be there next week for 2 days... any new tips thanks narikaa for yours already.... will be very helpful I guess btw.... what percentage of a dealers price do I have to expect to pay there? Guess for non locals it could be difficult to get a "reasonable" price?
  15. got it today, since I had it forwarded via the uk to avoid customs issues... I can confirm it is the same old date window... but my actual watch looks very good... no screw problems etc. secs @12 seems to move very smooth. I really like the watch and stared at it for some minutes now...
  16. yeah, told her you sent me ... glad I asked for pics, though... if she would have sent out the first one, it would have been a desaster... the pics of the second one look very nice. hope it looks that nice in flesh, too.
  17. got a new picture from a new watch... looks much better now!
  18. yeah, I know... and the screws are really messed up... I would have been so angry if I'd had gotten it like this... not wearable with those crooked and messed up screws... She said she is taking it back to the factory and getting a new one... but now I am pretty sure she just said "yes new version, no problem, in stock..." but she only meant the "new" movement with the jewel on the center wheel... probably there actually is no new version for this model... :-/
  19. just got this picture from king... she said she has the new version and it would be no problem... but look at the picture.. not a new version in my opiniion and also totally messed up screws... (the screws on the caseback also look like a kid tried to open it with a knife) ... hope she didn't send this one out. I told her that I don't want to have it and she should look for a new one...
  20. already ordered a black themes from king on the 12th and am waiting for a pic of the actual watch since then... don't know why it is taking her so long, since she said she had it in stock...
  21. why don't you just buy a normal 7750 and transplant the gears and plates for the sec@12 to the new movement? could work if no parts of the secs @12 module are damaged...
  22. is this the version? or is it a quartz? http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=4160820887
  23. Actually, with a sub I'd really go for the best version! WM9 V1 is quite good already, but going for a V2 or V3 will be even better. No worries about the movement! As alligoat already stated you read a review about a modified movement not the standard 2836-2 which is very reliable. The modification rep makers do to the movement to make it resemble the GMT movement makes it unreliable. The plain one is safe to get. The small movement that was used in the V2 seems quite reliable to me, too... have mine for some time now... no problems at all! Id suggest going for a v2 or v3 if you can spend the extra money it costs.
