  1. bought a franken portu from concepta... gen movement, gen hands and double AR... I AM EXTREMLY HAPPY WITH IT! The gen movement makes a very big difference. Had the rep movement before... even with graphite treatment... had a jerky seconds hand and died only after a couple of weeks. the geen movement runs sooo smooth... and no worries to start the chrono function and still much cheaper than buying a gen.. only thing I have to get for it is either a gen crown or a rep "probus scafusia" crown and it will be perfect!
  2. speaking of dials... please check your pm... trying to get to you since saturday...
  3. since op says I need version B for a manual 44mm with sead crownguard you should need Version F. M 1,2 (is the stem size I guess) for manual... and for the sead cg you need the 0,85 version... so this would be F
  4. already sent an email, but I don't really know what version I need... I need the crown for a 111h and a new (unfitted) sead/nembo crown guard. can anybody help?
  5. waiting for my franken concepta too at the moment.... the graphite treatment didn't work for me... stopped again... gen movement is the best option I guess.

graphite treatment alone didn't do the trick for me. the dlc coating or combined with graphite will be a better option... but since the seconds output is transferred from 9 to 6 there can still be a problem despite of dlc and graphite, if the wheels on the modification plate get loose... they are "clipped" on by a little metal [censored]. not very good. francisco did a great writeup in his section about this "improved" 29j version, which doesn't even have 29 jewels. if dlc and graphite turn out to fail after a few month you spent the money for nothing. safe some money and buy tge gen movement.
  8. any news? really need one to go with my new nembo cg!
  9. Just want to *bump* this, since Domenico really IS THE GUY! He is an extremely friendly guy, works very fast and reliable. I had a few pieces with him and was always very happy with his work. And even in the unlikely case that there is a problem after he sent the watch back, he will solve it in no time. GREAT GUY!
  10. I am also in for a SS crown for a pam111.
  11. I just stumbled across uhrwelt.com by coincidence... They offer Swiss ETA reps with 7750 for about 350€ Their descriptions are just great: "Pictures may differ from actual product, actual products look much nicer!" This HAS to be a scam site. Anyone heard about them. whois lookup says the domain is registered by privacyprotect.org/
  12. so he's in italy at the moment? so I guess thats why I can't get in touch with him at the moment... I was already getting worried, since he normally always replies quite fast...
  13. hahahahahaha.... I'll beat you up.... hahahaha
  14. pictures 1,2 + three are of different watches... would be interesting to know which is the actual one he is selling. in 1 and 2 the date window is not beweled and the metal ring aroung the luminous dots is looking different!
  15. very nice! especially like the b&r strap!
  16. hmmm strange.... why would the put glowing text on the dial... really don't think the gen has that... (if this is real this has to be some strange new version of the watch)
  17. wouldn't be bad to buy a crystal press anyways... last time I tried to remove the bezel of my wm9 v2 the complete bezel assembly including the crystal came off...
  18. if it is not fake it would have to be some kind of new dial with glowing writing... don't even think the gen has that... (strange however is that the hands have no lume at all, but the red dot is glowing...) red lume???
  19. I am talking about the lumed writing and the red dot!
  20. nah, I mean how could the writing be lumed? it is a sandwich dial... only the numerals can be lumed...
